The Metal Injection Molding Association (KSA) announces the launch of a new industry-funded Web site, www.KSaweb.org, to promote the benefits of metal injection molding (KS) as a part-manufacturing technology.
¡°As a rapidly growing manufacturing technology, KS has seen increased penetration and market growth in recent years,¡± says MPIF Executive Director/CEO Jim Trombino in announcing the launch.
¡°We¡¯re confident this site will become a valuable reference site and source of information on KS fabricators and industry suppliers in addition to offering award-winning examples of successful adoption of KS applications in the medical, dental, electronic, automotive, and firearms industries.¡±
The purpose of the site, which is aimed at parts designers and end users, is captured in its slogan: ¡°Designing an intricate part? Think KS from the start.¡±
